One product per model
List each case or protector as its own product, with the phone model in the name. Shopkeepa has no size or colour variants in its first release, so each combination is a separate line with its own count.
A phone accessories shop sells small, cheap things in huge variety: cases, screen protectors, chargers, cables, earbuds. Shopkeepa helps you list them clearly, sell them quickly and see which fast movers are about to run out.
Every phone model needs its own case and screen protector, so the range explodes and nobody knows what is left.
Chargers and cables look alike, so the wrong one gets sold, or the right one is in stock but nobody can find it.
A new phone comes out and the old cases stop selling, but the stock is still on the wall.
Items are cheap, so small losses and unrecorded sales never get noticed until the till does not match.
List each case or protector as its own product, with the phone model in the name. Shopkeepa has no size or colour variants in its first release, so each combination is a separate line with its own count.
Scan the barcode on the pack with a phone camera or a Bluetooth or USB scanner. It finds products already in your own list, so a queue moves quickly.
Bring in a spreadsheet of your range and check it in a preview before anything is saved. Duplicate warnings catch the same cable listed twice.
Set a minimum on the items people always ask for. You get one reminder when stock crosses it, and the item goes on the restock list.
The slow movers report shows items that have not sold lately, so you can mark them down before the next model arrives.
Chargers and screen protectors for the popular models are usually first on the list. Plan the order before the first customer walks in.
Scan each pack or search by model, then use Stock In to add the quantity received.
Scan, tap, record cash or transfer, and move on. Each sale takes one off the count.
Count one hook rail, enter the numbers and let Shopkeepa record any differences.
See which models and accessories moved today and what to order tomorrow.
The hard part of this trade is not price, it is breadth. One popular phone can mean a clear case, a black case, a tempered glass protector, a privacy protector and a charging cable that fits it. Multiply that by every model people still carry, and a modest shop easily holds hundreds of lines that all look similar hanging on a wall.
Shopkeepa does not have variants, so the practical method is to give each model and style its own product. Put the item type first and the model last, such as "Case clear iPhone 13" or "Screen protector Samsung A15", so search groups similar things together. Naming and organising products goes through the method.
| Product | In stock | Minimum | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| USB-C cable 1 m | 3 | 10 | Reorder |
| Screen protector Samsung A15 | 14 | 6 | OK |
| Case clear iPhone 13 | 0 | 4 | Out |
If you import a supplier list, do it once and tidy as you go. Start with the twenty items that make most of your sales and fill in costs for those first. ABC analysis shows how to find them.
Accessories are a high-volume, low-ticket business. A single customer might buy a charger and a protector for a few dollars each. When the counter is busy nobody writes anything down, and a shelf of small things is easy to lose from without noticing.
Every change to stock in Shopkeepa is recorded as a movement with a reason: sale, received, return, damaged, theft or loss, correction or count. A cable that tested faulty is a damaged movement. A charger that someone took is a theft or loss movement. Over a month, those reasons show where stock is actually going.
Add costs to your best sellers and the reports show gross profit. Cheap items can look profitable when sales are busy, so it helps to know which ones actually earn their space on the wall. How to price products covers margins, and the markup and margin calculator does the sums.
